We got a note from the folks over at Kawasaki
about Kipu Ranch Adventures and that company's choice to use Kawasaki vehicles in their tour operations.
Sometimes we just gloss over those kind of e-mails but this
one caught our attention for a couple of reasons. First, Kipu Ranch is in Hawaii and the footage
was beautiful and second, a couple of comments struck as kind of funny.
The video is attached but here are the comments. They come
from Antone Teves, co-owner of Kipu Ranch Adventures, an ATV and side-by-side tour
operation on the island
of Kauai that currently
uses around 95 machines for their adventure touring operation. The ranch
purchased seven 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4s EPS and seven 2012 Brute Force 750 4x4is.
"We've had Kawasaki
techs visit us prior to the purchase. We were impressed as this is unlike
anything we have ever seen from any other manufacturer prior to purchasing
units. And after the purchase of this first set of machines we were quickly
informed that Kawasaki
would be sending several techs to our island to do training for our in-house
mechanics on these machines. We just finished up this event and found it to be
extremely helpful and a true sign of Kawasaki's
dedication to educating customers and standing behind their product."
This is why that struck us funny. We would have gone to Hawaii
too to provide training. We're just wondering how those lucky ducks who got to
go got chosen for that assignment. We're pretty envious.
