If you're too antsy to wait for Rally on the Rocks (and
honestly, who isn't?), make your way to Mesquite,
NV, Feb. 21-24 for the first
Mesquite Off-Road Weekend. The event will include casino action, live
entertainment, vendors and great food and drink.
Sponsored by the Mesquite Resort Association, the weekend
will include two days of riding with six ATV/UTV rids covering some of the most
scenic trails in the Southwest. There will be a vendor area and plenty of other
activities to keep everyone entertained. The Nitro Enduro Challenge Races will
take place on 100 acres
of rugged desert behind the Eureka Casino Resort. The course features big
rocks, deep mud, steep hills and other obstacles.
Friday night, Feb. 22, a world-record side-by-side jump will be
attempted.
A highlight of the weekend is sure to be the "Beyond Pro"
exhibition race by Nitro Circus on Saturday, Feb. 23. This show will be a
mayhem-filled powersports competition between Pro and Nitro Circus riders under
the lights.
