High Lifter Products Inc. announced the official race
results from the 2013 High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals held from March 20-24 at Mud Creek Offroad Park
in Jacksonville, TX. The annual event is the largest of its
kind, drawing thousands of attendees from around the world and about 100
vendors from the ATV/UTV industry.
Over the course of five days, attendees could participate in
a total of 18 competitive events or races which had cash payouts or prizes. In
addition to the events and trail riding, the Yamaha eXtreme Outlaw Concert
Series was held at the Yamaha Oasis featuring Blackberry Smoke, Frank Foster,
Drake White, Jason Cassidy, the Cody Riley Band, and Alex Troegel.
Scott Smith, president of High Lifter Products, said the
11th running of the world's largest mud-riding event proved to be one of the
best and biggest rides to date. "There is truly nothing greater than seeing
thousands of people from a variety of backgrounds come together and enjoy a
hobby like off-road riding," Smith said. "Our annual success with this event is
a direct result of the hard work that the Mud Creek crew puts toward their
park."
During the event, Polaris hosted a donation drive
benefitting the family of Caleb Moore. Those who donated at least $5 were
eligible to win a custom Polaris RZR 900. Prior to his untimely death due to an
injury sustained at January's Winter X Games, Moore had displayed his high-flying talent at
several High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals. During the awards ceremony, Moore's brother Colten
was on hand to draw the winning ticket belonging to Austin Hopkins.
On June 20-23, High Lifter will take its signature mud
riding event on the road as it heads to Hill
City, Minnesota, for
the 2013 High Lifter Quadna Mud Nationals. More information on that event can
be found at www.quadnamudnationals.com.
