Polaris racers were out in full force last weekend at WORCS
round five at Honolulu Hills in Taft,
CA.
Polaris Factory racers and Holz racers RJ Anderson and Beau
Baron finished one-two in the SxS Pro Production class. RZRs took the top
five spots in the class. Anderson,
after a tough start to the racing season, has climbed back up to sixth in
points with Baron sitting in first.
The SxS Production 1000 class was all RZR with
Holz Racing's Mitch Guthrie Jr. finishing first. RZRs finished in the top six
places in SxS Production 1000. Guthrie is leading the class in points with four
first place finishes and one fourth.
The SxS Production 700 class has seen an influx
of RZR 570s racing this year and the four entered finished first
through fourth out of seven starters. Polaris racer Cody Rahders had a tough
run but fought his way back with a crippled car to take second place. Holz racers
David Haagsma and Michael Bunyea would
finish first and third in their RZR 570s . Rahders is sitting third
in points, behind Bunyea and Haagsma, after having to take a round off.
The next WORCS race is at Pala Raceway, in Pala, CA, July
12-14.
