In November, Polaris launched the Polaris General, the new standard in off-road versatility. With its ability to both tackle the trails and have a work ethic, the General received high praise from industry editors and customers alike.
Polaris launched the General in two models, the Velocity Blue and Deluxe Orange Burst.
The Velocity Blue includes automotive-style paint, a Sport Low Profile Front Bumper, a Polaris HD 4500-lb. (2041 kg) winch and an upgraded tire package.
The Deluxe Orange Burst has all the features included on the Velocity Blue model with the addition of premium adjustable Fox Podium X 2.0 QS3 Shocks, the Pro-Fit Lock & Ride Sport Roof, a rear-view mirror and a MTX audio package.
As announced at launch, a third General model would be available in March, the base Indy Red, which is now available in dealerships.
The Indy Red model shares many of the same premium play and work features as the other two models, including class-leading power, torque, suspension travel, ground clearance, electronic power steering (EPS) and comfort for all-day riding.
Also similar to the Velocity Blue and Orange Burst vehicles, the model still features premium half doors, storage console with a 12V charger and an all-new instrumentation that tilts with the steering wheel.
It retails for $15,999 U.S. and $19,999 CAN.
