That right there is a tough call. Our second day of riding in the Black Hills of South Dakota was excellent but was it better than our first day of riding? It was simply two days of great riding.
Day two’s ride was definitely different than the first day. We rode a good portion of trail 8089, which has some narrow, tight and technical sections which ramped up the fun. We also rode to the American Flag overlook above Nemo, SD, and then out to Horsethief Cave and back to Black Hills Off-Road Rentals (www.blackhillsoffroadrentals.com). Some of the day’s ride was road miles, due to a tight schedule for us.
Our base camp for our Black Hills ride was Lead, SD, (https://leadmethere.org), a mining town that pursuing outdoor adventures to showcase the mountains that surround the town.
We will have a full report on our two days of riding in an upcoming issue of Dirt Toys Magazine.
