Los Angeles, CA – Nitro Circus Live returned to Canada in a big way with a massive show at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium. Anticipation reached fever-pitch as more than 1,000 tickets were sold day-of-show, with over 15,000 fans cheering on the planet’s most explosive touring event.
A Global TV news helicopter even circled overhead, covering the spectacle. Nitro Circus Live’s upcoming Canadian dates include Moncton (July 29), Halifax (July 30), St. John’s (August 6), Chicoutimi (August 12), Sherbrooke (August 13), Thunder Bay (August 20) and more.
Amazing all-around talent Gavin Godfrey conquered the 40-foot Giganta Ramp Saturday night with a triple backflip on a mountain bike. Groundbreaking wheelchair motocross (WCMX) athlete Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham showed why he is an inspiration to fans worldwide by stomping an incredibly dangerous front flip.
Freestyle motocross (FMX) stars, and multiple X Games medalists, Adam Jones, Nate Adams and Mike Mason also sent it with an array of unbelievable tricks. After a closing barrage of FMX trains, with each bike flipping through the air at lightning speed just inches apart, the crowd leaped to their feet and saluted the riders with a standing ovation.
Nitro Circus Live’s North American tour, its most extensive trek yet, includes over 40 shows in first-time markets running through fall 2016. The action continues this week with Nitro Circus’ Alaska debut: Saturday, June 4 at the Anchorage Football Stadium.
