Preparations for 2016 NOHVCC, INOHVAA 2016 Conference Are Underway

August 2016 Powersport News

Along with all of the planning, event organizers have revealed the theme for this year’s conference as Great Trails: The Next Generation.

The event will take place in Great Falls, MT and exceptional mobile workshops will once again be held at the Bull Run Guest Ranch near Cascade, MT. The program will be both interesting and informative.

NOHVCC will be awarding up to five scholarships for people who would otherwise not be able to attend the conference. While the scholarships are open for anyone, they will be awarded to people who have the most need of the funds, such as state associative partners where there is an active state partner, presenters who cannot afford to attend to present, program managers whose agency can’t pay for out-of-state travel and others. For a copy of the scholarship application, send an email to trailhead@nohvcc.org. Scholarship applications are due Sept. 2.

Event organizers have also issued a call for presentations. If you are interested in giving a presentation or have a topic and a potential speaker in mind for this year’s conference, send a note to trailhead@nohvcc.org. Please include a short paragraph regarding the proposed topic.

Organizers are in search of topics that are related to the Next Generation conference theme, so be sure to include how your proposed presentation fits.

Nominations for awards are also being accepted and organizers want to celebrate the past year’s successes. Send your photos to the above email and they might be featured during the Saturday night banquet slideshow. Those that represent Next Generation fun will be given the top priority.

Keep it under two pages, but be convincing of the reasons why the nominee should win the award.
