The Idaho Dunes UTV Invasion hit full stride on Friday at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes in eastern Idaho.
And we tried to take in as much as we could. We took advantage (twice) of Can-Am’s Maverick X3 demo ride, watched the sand drags, chuckled a little (maybe a lot) at the Rugged Relay (the driver is blindfolded and his partner—using Rugged Radios—coaches the driver through an obstacle course), went on a couple of rides on the dunes and also did a short photo shoot with the guys from Zbroz Racing. The Demon, aka the Sand Sled (our name, not theirs), was also along for the ride. We also watched Proline Wraps’ teeter totter practice.
The Invasion goes all weekend so there’s still time to catch lots of action—and dune riding.
