Rally In The Pines, the great western ATV & SxS rally has added another lunch ride to it's full schedule of rides and activities for the 2017 event.
There will be an additional lunch ride on Friday (July 7) to beautiful Mammoth Canyon. The ride will include a tour of the one of the ghost towns on the Mackay Mine Hill and side trips to old miner’s cabins and to the tops of mountains for panoramic views of the Lost River Mountain Range.
After a beautiful ride, everyone who has signed up for this lunch ride will gather at Mammoth Canyon. Here canopies, tables and Camp Chef barbecues will be set up. Buffalo burgers will be cooked and served up with all the fixin's between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be live entertainment provided by Scott Balsai and Acoustic Reflections. The Friday ride and the lunch will be sponsored by Walker Evans Racing, manufacturer of quality shocks and wheels.
On Saturday, the second lunch ride will take you to the top of a mountain summit near the tallest mountain peak in Idaho. The ride will be over the mountain pass with side trips to mountain lakes and streams and another optional side trip that will be a challenge ride to a mountain vista that overlooks the Blacktail and Mud Lake areas. The lunch will be served up at a Forest Service group campground, prepared with the Camp Chef grills and a campfire for everyone to roast up marshmallow S'mores for desert, after their buffalo burger lunch.
