During the 2016 Defender Pilot Program held at several dealerships in Iowa, Texas and Minnesota, participants were able to see the new Can-Am Defender vehicle and register for the “Win a Defender” promotion. On Dec. 14, 2016, the drawing was held and the winner was Jeff L. of Iowa.
Jeff L. won a Can-Am Defender HD8 vehicle (retail value $11,599 USD). He decided to upgrade to the XT package at his expense. Brunkan Equipment of Worthington, IA, handled the transaction and the unit was picked up on Jan. 6, 2017.
When asked about winning the new Defender side-by-side vehicle, Jeff L. replied, “I couldn’t believe it, but to my surprise I really did win. I’ve never owned a UTV but I have owned an ATV for 16 years. My wife and I have been running a swine operation together for 32 years. The Can-Am Defender will sure come in handy on the farm from doing chores to just bringing lunch to the field.”
