As we were looking to install a set of mirrors for our Polaris RZR, we happened across an 8-inch by 4-inch Rectangle Mirror from Extreme Metal Products. It was actually part of a Smack Back Buggy Mirror set for side-by-sides.
However, designed to fold in for tight trails, this mirror was actually perfect for a Polaris Ace. But rather than mounting it to the vertical post of the roll cage, we mounted it on the front cross post and took advantage of using the pivot to either drop the mirror down for use or pivot it up out of the way.
It works perfectly as the center rear view mirror.
The mirror comes with three sets of spacers so you can fit any bar size from two-inches down to 1.5-inch diameters. Installation is simple. Place the mirror where you want it and tighten the four screws. (Be careful not to over-tighten the screws. If you put too much torque on them you can pull the brass insets out of the housing.)
