Our ride today in Moab, UT, was a lot like life—full of ups and downs.
Of course, that’s what you get when you tackle Fins ‘n Things and Hell’s Revenge. It doesn’t ever feel like you’re riding on anything that resembles “flat” land. And that’s fine by us because all those up and downs are the exact reasons we like those two trails.
We started on Fins ‘n Things and then jumped on Hell’s Revenge and made the entire loop on the latter trail. We, of course, made sure we saw all the highlights like Hell’s Gate, the Escalator, Tip Over Challenge and the “tubs” up on top. Some we actively participated in and some we were spectators.
You can always count on being entertained at Hell’s Gate and today was no exception. No roll overs but a couple were fairly close. It’s been a while since we did the Tip Over Challenge but today we did. In fact, we liked it so much, we did it twice. And we did go through one of the tubs—the one without water.
It’s always a good day when you can ride Fins ‘n Things and Hell’s Revenge and not break anything. We did use our skid plates plenty, but hey, that’s what they’re for.
Tomorrow is another adventure.
