Every OHV enthusiast understands that participation is the key to maintaining opportunities for our sport. Currently, the Southern Region of the U.S. Forest Service is soliciting nominees to serve on its Resource Advisory Committee tasked with the review of fee proposals for the forests in the 13 southern states and Puerto Rico.
One of the positions is for a representative of summer motorized recreation. If you live and recreate in the Southern Region this could be your chance to have a positive impact. Whether or not you live in the Southern Region, if you know of someone who does and would be a good candidate please pass this information along.

Completed nomination forms are due Friday, May 31, 2019.
Nominating Criteria
Members will be appointed for three-year terms based on the following criteria:
- Which interest groups they represent and how well they are qualified to represent that group.
- Why they want to serve on the committee and what they can contribute.
- Their past experience in working successfully as part of a collaborative group.
