The Cooter Brown top fits perfectly and only takes minutes to install. You are basically dealing with four clamp brackets and four nuts. Everything is straightforward and easily accessible.
The Cooter Brown top is thermoformed from polyethylene and extends to the sides of the Ace to provide complete overhead protection. The hump in the center and two humps in the rear allow clearance for an optional stereo and speakers, which are sold separately.
Installation
- Position the top on the Ace roll cage.
- Slide on the rubber coated straps to match the location of the pre-drilled holes in the Cooter Brown top.
- Insert the truss head bolts with washers from the top and through the rubber coated straps.
- Insert the nuts and tighten.
Trail Tested
It’s remarkable how much protection a simple cap can give your Ace. Not only did it stop the sun, but it worked well in conjunction with the EMP windshield to keep the wind from beating you down.
It also proved very efficient in allowing the Ace to slide through tree branches cleanly. It just seems to create a perfect umbrella that keeps nature where you want it without hindering your riding experience.
This is a small investment that goes a large way in enhancing your riding enjoyment.
