At NOHVCC’s annual conference in Reno, NV, NOHVCC executive director Duane Taylor and Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council (COHV), Manager Rider Federations, Oksana Buhel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formally continue a partnership for the next five years.
The MOU states in part that the two organizations will “…work cooperatively to share and distribute existing information, materials, products and programs the parties have developed to OHV enthusiasts, clubs, associations, individuals, agencies and other interested parties in the United States and Canada.”
And, “…develop new information, materials, products and programs in a manner that optimizes adaptability and usefulness in both the United States and Canada.”
Per the MOU, a representative from each of COHV, the Canadian Quad Council (CQC), and the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) will serve as ex officio members of NOHVCC’s Board of Directors. NOHVCC will continue to participate in the CQC Annual General Meeting.
Taylor said, “Our friends from across the northern border have been fantastic partners over the years and we anticipate that the very fruitful partnership we renewed in Reno will grow even stronger over time. The Canadian contingent who annually participate in NOHVCC conferences as well as throughout the year provide valuable input and are friendly and fun ambassadors for Canada and OHV enthusiasts.”
