China’s Hisun Motor Corporation of Chongqing is establishing its North American headquarters in McKinney, city and company officials announced Monday.
Hisun, which manufactures all-terrain vehicles and motorcycles, has an assembly site in Carrollton. Its new headquarters will employ about 80 people at a site once occupied by Emerson Process Management Regulator Technologies.
Hisun is a privately-held group with nine different companies. It employs about 2,500 people in China, according to the company’s website.
McKinney is north of the Dallas metroplex.
