Thief River Falls, MN - Thief River Falls-based Arctic Cat reports record sales for its fiscal first quarter with snowmobiles leading the way.
But CEO Christopher Twomey says higher sales were not enough to overcome unfavorable Canadian currency. Sales of ATVs and side-by-sides were lower, a planned decrease to reduce dealer inventories ahead of the company's ATV dealer show in September.
Twomey said he expects this to be a challenging year, especially in the first half of 2015.
