Cat Unleashes All-New 2016 HDX 700 XT Side-by-Side

Arctic Cat’s newest work vehicle, the 2016 HDX 700 XT, has taken on a sleek new look and features of the of the 2015 Prowler XT.

Features include a 1,000-lb. capacity transformable box, three-passenger seating and fully independent suspension with pressure-adjustable Fox Float rear shocks. Cat had added high-quality Surly body panels, an automotive-style hood and redesigned dash along with reducing the engine noise by 8 decibels.

The 2016 HDX 700 XT features an H1 liquid-cooled 4-stroke engine with EFI, which is now closed-loop. The new closed-loop EFI uses an 02 sensor to automatically adjust for the ideal exhaust air-to-fuel ratio.

The transformable tilting rear cargo box converts to a flatbed in just a few minutes and can haul up to 1,000 lbs. Out back you’ll also find a 2-inch receiver that aids in helping the HDX tow up to 1,500 lbs. You can even pull the receiver out of your pickup and use it in the HDX.

Other features include: 2WD/4WD with electric front diff lock and Duro 3 Star Kaden tires with aluminum wheels, a power sport digital gauge on a redesigned dash and electronic power steering.

The 2016 HDX 700 XT EPS retails for $13,999 while the Camo version goes for $14,399.
