Minneapolis - Round three of the GNCC racing series would have Team UXC Racing heading to Morganton, NC, looking for another win.
Team UXC Racing’s Kevin Trantham and Michael Swift would leave the starting line of the 4x4 Pro Class near the rear of the pack. They would pilot their Scrambler XP 850s towards the front where Trantham would make a pass for the lead. Trantham would hold off the field and maneuver through the lap traffic to take his second win of the season. Swift would lose a belt near the finish of the race and, with pure dedication, push his vehicle through the finish line to finish sixth.
“I had an awesome day on the Team UXC Racing Polaris Scrambler XP 850,” Trantham said. “The bike worked amazing, taking everything that the brutal Steele Creek GNCC course had to offer. Thanks again to Team UXC Racing/Factory Polaris for giving me the opportunity to race some of the best equipment available.”
The next GNCC race is Big Buck, in Union, SC, April 11-12, which also is the second UTV and Single Seat round.
