A couple of weeks back we shared some photos from our ride up near Fall Creek in eastern Idaho and, as you saw, there was still some snow lingering at the higher elevations.
We headed back up there a few days ago when the 50-inch two track trails opened in the Fall Creek area and found there was still plenty of snow in the higher elevations to create some challenges. We also found 2-4 inches of new snow from the night before that added to the fun.
We did get stuck a few times, but mostly it was when we got high centered. Needless to say, we did some shoveling (we learned to bring that little piece of equipment along after our last ride up near Fall Creek).
