Minneapolis - GNCC’s Unadilla is the first race back from the summer break and Team UXC would start the second half of the season on top. The team would go into the summer break winning three straight Pro 4x4 classes and Kevin Trantham would keep the streak alive by taking the win in the Pro 4x4 class, on his Scrambler 850, with teammate Michael Swift taking second.
Swift and Trantham worked through the field and were running one, two by the end of the first lap. The pair put on a spectacular show for the spectators, swapping the lead many times but remaining less than a second apart while putting a bigger gap on the rest of the field. Trantham pulled out the win less than one second in front of teammate Swift. The two also took first and second in the overall. Trantham and Swift sit in second and third in the series points with three races to go.
The next GNCC race is the Car-Mate Mountain Ridge, in Central City, PA, on Oct. 3.
