Who hasn’t heard of the most recent snowstorm to blitz the mid-Atlantic states? Yes, Winter Storm Jonas (when did they start naming winter storms?) roared through the mid-Atlantic, leaving a swath of deep snow and behind it millions of people digging out.
Seems like the perfect conditions to ride the new Kawasaki Teryx4. Well, perfect might be an exaggeration but we did ride the 2016 Teryx on the Hatfield-McCoy Trails’ Rockhouse Trail and rather enjoyed the fairly deep snow we encountered on the trails out of Man, WV.
The Teryx and Teryx4 head into 2016 with several new features. Those, depending on the model, include: new styling, including the hood, headlights and front bumper, optimized Fox Podium 2.0 shock settings, new tilt steering column and thicker steering wheel, new tool-less driver’s seat adjustment, new dash layout with extra accessories switches and storage pocket, new 14-inch aluminum wheels on the Teryx4 LE model, new four LED headlights on Teryx4 LE and Camo models and, of course, Kawasaki’s Strong three-year limited factory warranty.
The Teryx4 LE we drove today handled what some might consider difficult trail conditions with ease.
We’ll have a full report on the 2016 Teryx models in an upcoming issue of Dirt Toys Magazine.
