Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) announced the placement of Joslyn Petty to the Marketing Communications Department as the Public Relations Specialist effective Feb. 15.
Petty joined KMC in August 2007 as an enthusiast who desired to work for an iconic, exciting powersports company. Her career at KMC has spanned eight years, where she has worked in Dealer Development & Training. Petty has engaged with new and existing dealers to build valuable business relationships and is an advocate for female and millennial buyers.
“Joslyn is very passionate about Kawasaki,” said Kawasaki PR and brand experience manager, Kevin Allen. “We are confident that she is going to take her passion for powersports and help Kawasaki Public Relations go beyond the basics to create a genuine connection to the media and its audience through the excitement and the experience of riding Kawasaki products.”
An avid enthusiast, Petty has experience across Kawasaki’s entire powersports product line, having piloted street motorcycles, off-road motorcycles, side-by-sides and personal watercraft for the last 11 years.
In her new role, Petty will be involved in executing key product launches and media events alongside the rest of the Kawasaki Public Relations team. She will also be involved in the many exciting events surrounding KMC’s 50th anniversary celebration this year.
