Today the crew from Dirt Toys Magazine took on the Behind The Rocks Trail south of Moab. Invited on a media ride by Arctic Cat, our pony for the day was a Wildcat X Limited 1000.
The Wildcat X did everything we asked (sometimes coaxed) it to do. And that includes taking on two extremely gnarly obstacles called High Dive and Upchuck. We posted a fun video on the Dirt Toys Facebook page showing our descent of High Dive and ascent of Upchuck. Sometimes the rocks ruled the day, however. Just sayin’.
There are places on the Behind The Rocks Trail where you can open it up and hit some fun sandy whoops.
It was our first experience with the toughest parts of Behind The Rocks and it was quite memorable. And then when we thought it just couldn’t really get much better, there was the crew from Camp Chef waiting for us with a hot lunch near one of the natural arches along the trail. Awesome.
Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
