With the Baja 1000 upon us, Polaris factory racers have some pretty incredible stories to follow during the race:
Wayne Matlock has had total Baja dominance in 2015 and 2016. He’s going for his second Baja 1000 win and fourth consecutive SCORE Baja win (winner of 2015 Baja 500, 2015 Baja 1000 and 2016 Baja 500). He’ll be racing his No. 2971 Terrabit Racing Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS.
Kristen Matlock is Baja’s “Ironwoman.” This mother of two is fierce on the Baja trail, taking a third-place finish at the 2016 Baja 500 with no co-driver. She’s taking on the Baja 1000, in her Terrabit Racing No. 1954 RZR XP 1000 EPS, as the first woman to tackle the race solo.
Marc Burnett is currently leading the points in the Turbo class with his No. 2905 Monster/MB Motorsports RZR XP Turbo EPS and can wrap up another SCORE championship with a strong finish.
