Corona, CA - ATV Pro Motocross, one of the most hair-raising off-road motorsports of all, is making its 2017 season debut at a specially-built dirt track at Daytona International Speedway on the MAVTV Motorsports Network Saturday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Joel Hetrick of Seneca, PA, on a Honda, Thomas Brown of Sanger, TX, on a Yamaha and Jeffrey Rastrelli of Palm City, FL, on a Honda, will lead a full field of 17 Pros all battling to dethrone five-time and defending champion Chad Weinen from Galena, IL, on a Yamaha.
Situated just inside the main straight of the historic Daytona Raceway in Florida, the ATV Pro Motocross promoters trucked in more than 13,700 loads of soil to build the state of-the-art racetrack. Only a half mile long, the strategically prepared track’s berms, whoops and moguls are designed to test the riders and their 450cc machines to the limits.
