Wow, if we thought the terrain was rugged and steep on the
first day of riding at the media intro for the KYMCO UXV 700, it was somewhat
tame compared to our second day of riding.
We started out by going up Salt
Creek Canyon
to Sinbad Valley
and then steadily gaining elevation until we ended up near Pace Lake.
By the time we got to Pace
Lake the trail was more
like a goat trail than an off-road trail.
There were rocks and boulders and plenty of switchbacks
along the way up the side (literally) of the mountain. We gained nearly 3,500
feet in elevation from the parking area to Pace Lake.
The trail was perfect to show the capabilities and strengths
of the UXV 700. That trail might be one of the best and most fun we've been on
so far this season.
Here are a few pictures from our second day of riding. We'll
have a complete report in the fall issue of Dirt
Toys Magazine.
