If you've been following our webpage the past few days
you've read about Kawasaki's
joint venture with Disney (yea, that Disney) and that company's upcoming new
film The Lone Ranger.

Dirt Toys Magazine
was along for the ride and after the first day we can say it's all been a bit
surreal. We started the day with a ride in Kawasaki's
Teryx4 in the high desert of northern New Mexico
in the Caja del Rio area. It was a bit dusty
and the trails were nothing the Teryx4 couldn't handle but it was fun as we
dialed up nearly three dozen miles.
Then, that evening, we were invited to the premiere showing
of The Lone Ranger, starring Johnny Depp
and Armie Hammer. None other than the movie's very famous Jerry Bruckheimer
welcomed us in person to the movie theater and showing of his latest creation.
It's a great and very funny action movie that will be released to the general
public July 3. We were the first ones to see the movie outside of Disney's
employees.
We saw the movie in a Santa
Fe movie theater. Much of the movie was filmed in New Mexico, as well as Colorado,
California and Utah. In the one release we put up on our
webpage, we showed you a picture of the locomotive we saw as the movie was
being filmed near Moab,
UT.
It was a bit surreal to be a part of something as big as a
movie premiere, where dozens of other Hollywood
media types were in attendance.
Here are a few pictures of our ride from Tuesday.
