Arctic Cat has introduced its 2014 lineup featuring several new models, including two new ATV models, three for the Prowler and two for the Wildcat.
500 and TRV 500 ATVs
The Arctic Cat 500's-and its two-up TRV sister-is an ideal blend of performance and value. Both machines put their power where it matters: to the ground. Credit goes to the Arctic Cat H1 engine that consistently delivers great pulling power, superior climbing power and smooth, consistent acceleration. The potent liquid-cooled 443cc engine delivers a wide torque curve with smooth, consistent power thanks to its electronic fuel injection (EFI).
Likewise, the stout performance of the Duramatic automatic transmission gets even better for 2014, thanks to the addition of Park-in-transmission.
Built on the proven Arctic Cat chassis, both machines feature double-A-arm suspensions with 10 inches of preload-adjustable travel and 11 inches of class-leading ground clearance. The combination of the narrow bodywork, lower ride height and center of gravity deliver rider confidence for aggressive cornering and high-speed handling. The result is plush and capable performance for everyone from hunters to trail riders. The 500 features SpeedRacks with a 100-lb. front and 200-lb. rear capacity.

Prowler 500 HDX, 500 HDX XT, 500 HDX Limited
The all-new 2014 Arctic Cat Prowler 500 HDX and HDX Limited are built to deliver three-occupant adventure and versatility at a premium value.
Both new models are built upon the award-winning HDX design that combines space for three occupants with a versatile rear cargo box that's built to haul a variety of payloads.
Large enough to hold items as large as a pallet, the transformable two-in-one composite tilting cargo box can haul 600 lbs. of payload. Multiple tie-down options make securing loads easy. On the Limited model the box features detachable bed sides that quickly transform the HDX into a flatbed.
Each HDX model boasts the sculpted 40/20/40 "bench" seat that delivers comfortable seating for three occupants. It's part of a spacious cab system that includes a ROPS round-tube canopy.
Power for the new machines comes from the H1 443cc 4-stroke engine with the spot-on calibration of electronic fuel injection. It's matched by the Duramatic automatic transmission, which features High/Low/Reverse/Park and dynamic engine breaking. All three models feature electronic 2WD/4WD selectable by a dash-mounted switch.
For added luxury, the HDX XT gets painted bodywork in Emerald Green Metallic or Vibrant Red Metallic, 14-inch aluminum wheels, a 25-lb. capacity under-hood storage space, plus left and right side storage compartments.
The HDX Limited ups the ante with the addition of five-position tilt steering, variable electronic power steering, a locking front differential, 14-inch aluminum wheels, 25-lb. under-hood storage and painted bodywork in either Emerald Green Metallic or Vibrant Red Metallic.

Wildcat 4X, Wildcat 4 Limited
For pure-sport ROV enthusiasts who desire to share their adventures with up to three passengers, the 2014 trio of Arctic Cat Wildcat four-seaters delivers ultimate off-road performance. Joining the Wildcat 4 and 4 Limited this season is the all-new Wildcat 4 X featuring the powered-up 93-hp 1000 engine and 27-inch Maxxis Bighorn tires.
The Wildcat 4 models feature a stretched exoskeleton frame that's 29 inches longer than the standard Wildcat to comfortably accommodate the two rear bucket seats with best-in-class passenger ride-in comfort and leg room. All four high-back seats feature three-point belts, with four tube-frame doors featuring integrated nets. Unlike competitive brand machines, the driver and passengers are located near the Wildcats' low center of gravity, leaving them less affected by the movements of the vehicle with greater confidence and control.
With an industry-leading 17/18 inches of front/ rear suspension travel and 13 inches of ground clearance, the Wildcat 4 models are built to handle all kinds of terrain with unmatched comfort and control. The five-point, multi-link trailing-arm rear suspension design keeps the rear tires planted while the suspension moves through its travel for unmatched traction and control, while the double A-arm front is renowned for its cornering and control. All three models feature Fox Podium gas shocks with compression adjustment.
Power comes from the torque-tuned, liquid-cooled 951cc Arctic Cat H2 V-Twin 4-stroke with electronic fuel injection, with a powered-up 93 hp version in the X model. All three have an automatic transmission with Team Rapid Response clutches and feature electronic selectable 2WD/4WD and front differential lock.
Braking performance has been enhanced on all three models for 2014, starting with a new brake pedal that features a new lever ratio for more aggressive feel of the four-wheel hydraulic brakes.
Variable assist electronic power steering (EPS) delivers light steering input effort when negotiating tough obstacles like washouts, rocks and mud, but with enough feedback so that the driver senses the tire contact patch in relation to the terrain.
Class-leading LED headlights and taillights shine extra-bright, while a 300-pound payload rear compartment is large enough to carry a cooler and a can of gas. Machined, cast-aluminum wheels, automotive-style paint and tilt steering complete the package.
The Wildcat 4 Limited offers two-tone color-matched bucket seats, aluminum front and rear bumpers and bed-mounted tie-down hooks.
The Wildcat 4 X gets the same upgrades as the Limited, plus the powered-up 93-hp H2 engine, 27-inch Maxxis Bighorn tires, and Vibrant Red Metallic and Viper Blue Metallic painted bodywork options.
