What on earth would lure us to the Arizona desert in the heat of August with the temps hovering around 110 degrees F?
A chance to get some seat time 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000. We'd did it today and we'd do it again in a heartbeat if asked.
We only spent a few ours in the new RZR but it was long enough to form some initial impressions. Like, holy cow that vehicle rips across the desert and eats moguls for lunch. Also, the 1000, with it's claimed 107 hp, is easily the most powerful RZR Polaris makes. That extra 100 ccs is easy to feel compared to the XP 900, which was no slouch.
We'll give you a full report when we get some more time behind the wheel. We did manage to snap a few pictures today before we practically melted into the Arizona desert.
Did we mention it was hot? So was the temperature.
