Jeff Knoll shocked the off-road industry in March, 2011, when he announced he would be stepping away from the King of the Hammers (KOH), Ultra4 racing and Hammerking Productions, Inc. Now the largest off-road race in the United States, KOH changed the landscape of rocksports during the Great Recession, attracting 30,000 fans and participants to the desert of Johnson Valley, CA.
Now, almost three years after selling his interest in the series he helped create, Knoll is set to announce his next adventure at the Off Road Expo in Pomona, CA, on Oct. 5. At 1:45 p.m., Knoll will debut his plans for a week-long festival that includes a completely new form of 4-wheel drive competition. The announcement will take place at the Genright booth No. 4761. In partnership with Wild West Motorsports Park and John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino, Knoll will share his vision to capitalize on the unique opportunities that northern Nevada has to offer the OHV industry.
Knoll currently serves as the director of communications for the Off-Road Business Association and as a delegate to the California Motorized Recreation Council.
