Day two of our ride with Bruce Anderson and his crew from Go Baja/Go Desert Off-Road Riding Tours (www.gobajariding.com) wasn’t quite as long as day one’s ride (a little more than 100 miles compared to the first day’s 166 miles) but it was every bit as much fun.
We headed south out of San Felipe, stopped at the harbor to see the shrimp fishing boats and then went a little farther south to do a little beach riding. Amazingly fun.
After that we went back through San Felipe and over to the dry lake bed, which sits in the shadow of Picacho del Diablo (elevation 10,157 feet), and on towards Valle de la Trinidad and then on to Mike’s Sky Rancho, where we spent the night.
