One look at the Bigfoot models and it’s clear they mean business. The large-paddle 25-inch mud tires are made for digging deep, with a rugged design that delivers crisp steering response while resisting damage from rough terrain. They wrap around custom aluminum beadlock rims, securing each tire to the rim so that tire pressures can be just 1.7 psi for a smoother, more comfortable ride.
A premium Jensen sound system complements the package, delivering crisp and clear audio from a waterproof 40-watt-per-channel tuner with USB/MP3 plug-in, Bluetooth technology and AM/FM sound. It’s ready to pound out the soundtrack to any extreme terrain experience.
When the mud gets deep, a Bigfoot keeps going thanks to ARGO’s one-piece all-terrain amphibious body that floats over water and glides over stumps, snags and wetlands with unmatched stability and control. A 3,500-lb. WARN winch is firmly affixed to the front to help when friends get stuck.
With 9.5 inches of ground clearance, Bigfoot models are ready to roll, crawl and climb over the gnarliest terrain. Generous towing capacities and a rear 2-inch receiver hitch add versatility, while 7.1-gallon fuel tanks mean long days of riding without having to worry about filling up.
When it comes to turning, Bigfoot MX models are equipped with the Admiral transmission, delivering smooth steering and ideal balance between speed and torque. When the driver turns the handlebars, the Admiral transmission braking force is applied to a steering differential, translating into smooth and gentle steering. In High range, it steers smoothly and in an arc, similar to a pickup truck. In Low range it operates similar to a traditional skid steer vehicle, offering zero-radius turning. It’s capable of reaching speeds of up to 20 mph (32km/h*) on land.
Bigfoot XTV models powered by the clean, dependable performance of liquid-cooled 4-stroke V-Twin engine pumping out 30 hp via electronic fuel injection. That means all the power for exploring, plus easy starting and automatic air- and temperature-compensation in all climate conditions, including high altitudes.
The Avenger Bigfoot 800 MX6 is a 6x6 model built for four occupants, while the Avenger Bigfoot 800 MX8 is a 8x8 model built for six. Dressed in custom Black Gold colors, they set a new stance in extreme vehicle style to match the backcountry performance.

Bigfoot II Technology
All-Terrain Amphibious Body
Evolved and refined from more than 50 years of amphibious vehicle development, the one-piece high-density polyethylene (HDPE) lower body is ARGO’s signature design feature. The smooth and durable underbody floats over potential snags, stumps and outcrops as well as wetlands and mud, keeping water hazards out while delivering unparalleled stability and control.
Admiral Transmission
At the heart of every ARGO XTV is a fully mechanical transmission that transfers engine power to the wheels on each side of the machine. When the driver turns the handlebars, braking force is applied directly to the output of the appropriate side of the transmission to steer the vehicle.

ARGO Low Pressure Mud Tires
The MT 25-inch tires on ARGO Bigfoot models are at home when there’s mud, dirt and a need for extra traction. Engineered to be highly resistant to damage from cuts, impacts and all kinds of hazards, the large-paddle tires feature a tread design that’s tied to the sturdy sidewalls for quick steering response, improved cornering stability and even greater sidewall protection. As a system with beadlock rims, they apply just 1.7 psi of ground pressure, dispersing pressure while achieving maximum traction over all surfaces.
Ground Clearance
With 9.5 inches (26.7 cm) of ground clearance, ARGO XTVs are built to tackle the roughest terrain.
Load And Towing Capacity
Bigfoot XTV models are built to haul and tow the kind of gear that sportsmen and owners demand. The Bigfoot MX8 can tow up to 1,800 lbs. (816 kg) while the MX6 tows up to 1,200 lbs. (544 kg). Built for six occupants, the land load capacity of the MX8 is 1,045 lbs. (474 kg), while the four-occupant MX6 offers a 380-pound (172 kg) land load capacity.
Extended Range
Bigfoot models feature a large 7.1-gallon (27 litres) fuel tank that provides hours of continuous operation, allowing owners to go the distance.
Dependable 4-Stroke EFI Engine
Avenger Bigfoot XTVs are powered by a dependable liquid-cooled V-twin 4-stroke gas engine that produces 30 hp. It features electronic fuel injection (EFI) for sure starts and automatic air- and temperature-compensation in all climate conditions, including high altitudes.
Bilge Pump
A built-in bilge pump quickly and effectively evacuates water that enters an ARGO XTV.
Quiet Muffler

3500-Pound WARN Winch
Bigfoot comes equipped with a 3500-lb. WARN Winch for the ultimate in utility, ease-of-use and durability. The winch is conveniently operated via an on-dash actuator.
Aluminum Dual Beadlock Rims
Avenger Bigfoot models feature premium aluminum beadlock rims that deliver custom style while mechanically locking the tire bead to the rim. With each tire firmly secured to its rim, it enables an incredibly low 1.7-psi tire pressure for a smoother, more comfortable ride over rough terrain as well as maximum performance in mud.
Hydraulic Steering Brakes
Every ARGO XTV is equipped with hydraulic steering brakes for powerful, controlled steering in the full range of conditions and terrain. These brakes are activated via the steering wheel to control the power output from the transmission to the wheels on either side of the machine.
Premium Jensen Sound System
Avenger Bigfoot models are equipped with a premium Jensen sound system for full-featured audio entertainment. The waterproof 40 watt per channel receiver features an AM/FM tuner with 12 programmable presents; a USB MP3/WMA player; Bluetooth technology, rear auxiliary audio output; and is Bluetooth compatible. It’s built with UV and corrosion resistant materials and features a large, daylight readable LCD display with blue backlit controls. High performance speakers deliver crisp sound.
