The Stampede and Stampede X are joined by the all-new Stampede Hunter Edition for 2019, each built by Textron Off Road with a heavy-duty work ethic and the ability to have fun when the work’s done. All three boast best-in-class components and specifications with innovative features that deliver a premium side-by-side experience.
The new Stampede Hunter Edition is true to its name with a WARN winch, roof and two gun mounts as standard equipment. A new hood rack and the addition of textured paint on the ROPS and front bumper highlight the improvements for 2019.
Every Stampede is built to get the job done, starting with a 600-pound capacity tilting rear bed with the quick and simple Fast-N-Latch bed accessory storage system. Plus there’s added convenience of the Stampede’s signature extended cab, delivering a class-leading 24 cubic-feet of total storage space. Add to the mix a 2,000-pound towing capacity for a machine that’s ready for every job and trail.
Double A-arm suspensions with 9.5/10.5 inches of front/rear travel conquer all terrain and conditions, with 11.25 inches of ground clearance for added peace of mind. Front and rear sway bars reduce body roll and keep handling smooth and predictable. Full impact- and corrosion-resistant doors offer a large 10 square foot opening for easy entry and exit.
The cab is equally spacious, with a full 39 inches between the ROPS cage and the seat bottom, plus 31 inches between the instrument panel and the seatback. The dash itself features an industry-leading 5.25x3.25-inch LCD display. And the contoured bench seat provides comfortable seating for two.
Power comes from the robust, dependable 846cc SOHC twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled EFI engine that was designed and built by Textron Motors. It feeds its 80 hp and 59-ft.-lbs. of torque to the CVT system. The selectable on-demand AWD system puts the power exactly where you want it, while four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes with 9-inch rotors and dual piston calipers deliver enhanced braking performance.
Stampede models are equally impressive when it comes to features such as Electronic Power Steering (EPS); large 9.5 gallon fuel capacity; standard 2-inch receiver hitch; 12V and USB accessory outlets; steel front brush guard; and adjustable tilt steering. There’s even a programmable speed controller that allows the operator to set a maximum top speed from 26 to 55 mph (in 1-mph increments) to ensure that Stampede models are operated at the appropriate speed for the driver and task.
The Stampede comes with black steel wheels, 26-inch Kenda tires and comes in Jet Black with Earth Blue.
The Stampede X gets premium 27-inch Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires; aluminum wheels; premium cut-and-sewn bench seat and comes in Charcoal Metallic with Lime Green.
The Stampede Hunter Edition features premium 27-inch Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires, aluminum wheels, premium cut-and-sewn bench seat,; 4,000-lb. WARN winch, top and two gun mounts. It comes in TrueTimber Strata.

2018 Stampede Technology
High/Low /Reverse/Park With Electronic On-Demand AWD
The rugged transaxle system on the drivetrain features High range, Low range, Neutral, Reverse and Park. Electronically selectable on-the-fly 2- and 4-wheel-drive is bolstered by selectable 4WD differential locking to achieve the desired traction and drive control in varying conditions.
850 Engine
Designed and built by Textron Motors, the twin-cylinder 846cc SOHC engine incorporates key features and technology for powering Stampede models, including an Electronic Fuel Injection system for quick throttle response and improved fuel economy; a dry-sump oil system that creates lower oil temperatures, less friction and increased oil life; and a forged crankshaft, camshaft and connecting rods for added durability. It produces 80 horsepower and 59-ft.-lbs. of torque. It’s liquid-cooled with an auxiliary fan for consistent performance in all conditions.
Electronic Power Steering (EPS)
Electronic Power Steering provides varying electronic steering assist depending upon conditions, effort and speed. An Electronic Control Unit measures steering input force in relation to vehicle speed and tire resistance in order to provide the appropriate assist to the steering column via an electronic brushless motor. The varying levels of assist translate into a light steering input effort, especially when in 4WD with a locked differential, but with optimal feedback so that the rider senses the tire contact with the terrain.
Four-Wheel Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 9.5-inch steel rotors on each wheel deliver enhanced braking performance and feel, effectively controlling all four wheels during deceleration.
Double A-Arm Suspensions
Double A-arm front and rear suspension deliver premium comfort and control in a full-range of terrain conditions via optimized geometry and 9.5 inches of front and 10.5 inches of rear travel. Front and rear swaybars enhance positive cornering.
600-Lb. Capacity Rear Cargo Box With Fast-N-Latch
A versatile tilting rear cargo box offers 600 lbs. of gear-carrying capacity and versatility, with integrated tie-down hooks for added ease. The versatile Fast-N-Latch system works in tandem with many accessories to provide quick and secure attachment while maximizing bed space.
2-inch Rear Receiver
A rugged, automotive-style 2-inch rear receiver hitch simplifies towing applications.
Extended Cab
The one-of-a-kind extended cab provides additional space to load and secure gear that you want to keep separate from the cargo bed box. Drop-down access panels ease loading/unloading gear.

Four-passenger Stampede models feature 6 cubic-feet of storage space located under the front bench seat.
Full-Sized Doors

Customizable Speed Controller
