Argo Xplorer XRT models include the XRT 500, XRT 500 EPS, XRT 500 LE and XRT 1000 LE. Each is built on a rugged steel chassis featuring premium double A-arm front and rear suspension with extended travel for optimal comfort and handling. With the maximum traction provided by 25- or 26-inch Innova tires matched by 12 inches of ground clearance, Xplorer XRTs are equipped to handle the gnarliest off-road terrain.
Two engine options highlight the Xplorer line: a single-cylinder 503cc liquid-cooled mill that delivers 39 hp and a 997cc liquid-cooled V-twin producing 84 hp. Both engines feature electronic fuel injection for optimal performance and operation in all temperatures and elevations. Each is built extra-tough with class-busting performance and durability.
Putting that power to ground is a smooth and dependable automatic CVT transmission that features P-L-H-N-R gear selection, plus a rider-selectable electronic 2WD/4WD system with a lockable front differential. The result is an easy-to-use drivetrain that handles all terrain and riding conditions with the exact performance and capability that riders expect.
All Xplorer XRT models come equipped with heavy-duty steel front and rear racks offering 99/165 lbs. of capacity, plus a 2-inch rear receiver hitch and a helpful 1,300-pound towing capacity. High-output projector beam front headlights deliver excellent visibility in low light conditions.
The XRT 500 base model comes with steel wheels and a rugged front bumper. The XRT 500 EPS package goes a step further with the easy-steering control of TMSS electric power steering, while the XRT 500 LE features TMSS, cast-aluminum wheels, an additional handlebar-mounted headlight, plus a front brush guard.
For maximum 2-up performance and luxury, the XRT 1000 LE features TMSS, cast-aluminum wheels, a turf-saving mode on the rear differential, a front brush guard and added hand guards, plus the extra power that comes with the strong V-Twin engine.

Technology
500 Engine
The 503cc single-cylinder SOHC 4-stroke engine is designed and built for strong performance and great durability. It features Electronic Fuel Injection and liquid-cooling (with an auxiliary fan) for optimal and consistent performance in all conditions. With class-leading torque and 39 hp, it’s a clean, quiet engine that provides excellent fuel economy.
1000 Engine
The ultra-durable 997cc V-Twin SOHC 4-stroke engine delivers class-leading 84 hp and features Electronic Fuel Injection and liquid-cooling for optimal performance in all conditions. Clean and quiet, it’s designed and tuned to deliver excellent fuel economy and strong torque over a broad powerband, with an auxiliary fan for consistent performance in the most demanding conditions.
Electronic Power Steering
The Xplorer’s premium Tri-Mode Speed Sensitive Electronic Power Steering (TMSS EPS) senses the ATV speed to provide varying levels of assist for the most comfortable ride. Riders can conveniently select their desired level—from no assist, minimum and maximum assist—by toggling the digital display.
2-inch Receiver Hitch
A rugged automotive-style 2-inch receiver hitch features anti-vibration technology for easy towing with maximum smoothness. Towing capacity is 1,300 lbs.
Hydraulic Brakes
Hydraulic disc brakes feature both hand lever and foot pedal operation, delivering enhanced braking performance in all conditions. They’re complemented by smooth-action engine braking for positive rider control.
Steel Front and Rear Racks
Heavy-duty steel front/rear racks deliver 99/165 lbs. carrying capacity, with multiple tie-down locations for maximum versatility.
Instrument Gauge
Digital display features odometer, speedometer, trip odometer, rpm, EPS setting and fuel level. Surrounding the display are easy to identify indicators for transmission position.
Tires
High performance Innova tires provide superior traction in off-road riding conditions, with precision cornering and straight-ahead steering control. All LE models come equipped with 14-inch matte black aluminum wheels.
Suspension
Xplorer models feature double A-arm front and rear suspensions with extended travel for premium comfort and control in all riding conditions. The shocks are mounted to the lower A-arm to maximize performance and rider comfort. Riders can easily adjust spring preload to match their riding style and load carrying requirements.
2WD/4WD Automatic Transmission With Differential Lock
Xplorer models are equipped with a durable, automatic CVT transmission with selectable 2WD/4WD and front differential lock.
